River rafting on the Aare
River rafting on the Aare is a fun summer experience for young and old. At the weekends hundreds of water enthusiasts travel to the Aare just to ride the rapids.
The highlight of every Aare ride with an inflatable raft is entering the Bundestadt with the dome of the Federal Parliament building in the background.
Boats can be directly rented at the single boat site in Thun and returned at the destination in Bern.
Drive with the train to Thun, you will receive there your boat incl. instructions, a map of the Aare, life jackets, paddles and laundry dry bag.
